East Atlanta High Alumni - 1959 - 1988It is with deepest regret that we inform you all that Angela Starks Stewart pass Thursday morning (March 29th). Funeral plans are incomplete and will be announced later by Gregory Levett and Sons Funeral Home.

Angela is the sister of Kathy Starks  from the class of 1976.

Let us keep this family lifted up in prayer.

East Atlanta High planning committee meeting held today @ Spelman College. Discussion items:

New 2012 – 2014 Committee Board Members Assume Duties. The old guard is out and the new kids are now on the block. Head shots, email addresses, and member titles to be made available soon.

Class participation. The alumni needs your participation. All members of the East Atlanta alumni are encouraged to attend the monthly to share in discussions and to help plan upcoming activities.

Member Dues. Annual member dues are now due. The cost is $1 per month totaling $12 per year.

Class Organization. Classes are encouraged to get organized and asked to start collecting class dues. More info to follow.

Class Blogs are Now Available for Sale! As a way to help in establishing organization and structure within the East Atlanta community the Alumni is offering class blogs at discount prices to each of the designated classes. Each blog comes with tons of features and will help in distributing news on upcoming class activities. Click here or complete the contact form to be contacted by a member of the alumni committee. Blog posts and options to be posted soon.

Save the Date – Plans are underway for this years annual picnic. This years event is set to occur in July and will be held @ Wade Walker Park located in Stone Mountain. The date is still being confirmed and will be posted soon after. Classmates are encouraged to get organized now!
